About Our Farm
Quarrymount Free Range Meats are produced from the cattle farm of Ray Dunne, near the village of Killeigh on the Laois/Offaly border. Ray is the third generation farmer to run the family farm which has been in the Dunne family since the early 20th century. The farm consists of approximately 100 acres (40 hectares) and has always specialised in beef production. The land is a limestone free draining soil which allows lush pasture grow almost all year round. This allows the cattle to graze outdoors for the vast majority of the year. Over the winter months feed is supplemented with locally grown ‘GM free’ wheat and barley.

Quarrymount Free Range Meats was established by Ray Dunne in early 2006 in order to provide an alternative enterprise on the farm and to provide consumers with a top quality product and service not always available in larger retail outlets. Quarrymount Free Range Meats brings to you a range of 'GM Free' healthy and nutritious meats from animals farmed in an outdoor, animal-friendly environment.
Specialy Selected
The beef comes from specially selected early maturing animals renowned for their superior eating quality and flavour. The beef is aged for 21 days to ensure enhanced tenderness. Ray also sell free range chickens and a range of speciality sausages. Animals farmed Free Range are healthier, happier and contribute to a greener, cleaner environment.
